As I sit here waiting for today’s earnings to update I started to think about a few things.  First thing that popped in my mind is that I might pass the $600 mark this month.  That would be an astronimcal achievement for me.  Since the day I began writing on eHow I had ambitions to make $1,000 a month.  I know that $600 is still far away from $1,000 but it is definitely a lot closer than $200 a month.  This is what led me to think of something.

If I do earn $600 a month can I reach $1,000 by next month?  I think so.  Here’s why.  I am closing in on writing 100 articles for this month.  This might sound like a lot to everyone else but remember that I don’t have a job and I am simply waiting to start school again to recieve my masters.  This is really my prime down time to publish as many quality articles as I can.  Anyways, back to the original discussion of $1,000 a month.  I have been averaging a little over 3 articles a day this month and I am on pace to pass the $600 mark.  Why do I think I can reach the $1,000 mark by next month?  Because almost 100 of my articles haven’t even had the chance to earn for a full month.  If you take my average of 3 articles a day then you will notice that AT LEAST 45 of my articles will only earn for half a month.  Time for some math here.  I am averaging $3.00 an article for a month so far.  So if my 45 articles get to earn for the entire month they SHOULD earn at least $135 for the month.  That’s only figuring in the articles at the half month mark.

I have been thinking of not writing a single article for an entire month to see how much I will really make but I just can’t bring myself to do that!  Ideas are constantly popping in my head and as soon as I write them, another one pops in.  Besides, i’m sure my article productivity will take a serious drop once I start school again.
